Your Perfect Pokémon Legends: Z-A Super Form Based on Your Zodiac Sign

The return of Mega Evolutions in Pokémon Legends: Z-A has sparked widespread enthusiasm across the fandom. Starting with the gradual reveal of newcomers ahead of the game's release, to players forming strong views on the full lineup of new Megas, there's a lot for fans to anticipate.

With many of the Super Forms boasting distinctive appearances that emphasize their traits, one thought naturally: What's the best way to link this with astrology? The following is based on a blend of vibes, common zodiac traits, and individual observations.

The Ram – Super Camerupt

To be truthful, Houndour's evolution was nearly selected for this fire sign, as they are the Super Form and zodiac symbol that inspire the most fear. But, a Super Houndoom comes across as always furious, which isn't typical of the Ram's energy, renowned for being fun, cheerful, and impulsive. That's why Aries far more akin to Mega Camerupt, which solely spews lava when angered. Remain on the friendly side of either and enjoy a strong partner; should you offend them, be ready to face the consequences.

The Bull – Mega Heracross

Much like a loyal Bull, the reliable Heracross, both in its regular and Mega form, has assisted numerous players in Legends: Z-A. While trustworthy, both the Pokémon and a Bull are also battle-oriented, and – be it their companion or a firm belief – will defend their position unwaveringly. What about Super Heracross that reminds me most of my Bull-sign companions, though, is its unabashed passion for treats. Several previous Pokédex entries note their fondness for sweet tree sap and how it uses its appendage to collect it everything, which is pure Taurus energy.

The Twins – Super Medicham

Observe this total royalty. You cannot convince me this creature is not the soul of any gathering, offering an constant stream of chatter to anyone who wants to hear. Just like an enrapturing, sociable Twins, it's incredibly simple to envision Super Medicham mesmerizing an entire open area with their stories. Medicham’s Pokédex entry also mentions its ability to foresee an opponent's future actions, which sounds very like a socially-savvy Twins.

The Crab – Mega Manectric

The Crab is commonly regarded as the most sensitive member of the astrological wheel, a passionate symbol famous for frequently getting absorbed in their emotions. Per the Pokédex, Mega Evolution charges the creature with a “huge amount of electricity, but it's too much for Manectric to completely manage,” which seems a lot like a classic Crab emotional outburst. This Pokémon is also known for its ability to make a thundercloud over its own head – and if there’s one thing a Crab is likely to do, it’s spoil their good time.

The Lion – Super Starmie

Well, did you assume I was planning to pick the lion Pokémon for the king of the zodiac? Aside from the reality that it would be far too on the nose, The Lion is clearly Super Starmie, the diva whose gams just became an internet sensation for being too fabulous (or terrifying, depending on your taste). Players were captivated from the violet starfish, and that’s precisely the same energy a Lion offers to the table. This Pokémon is also rumored to be transmitting signals from its red core out into the cosmos, and it’s just like a Lion to be staging a performance, even if for aliens.

The Maiden – Mega Victreebel

The always-ready and constantly-worried Maiden is ideally encapsulated in Mega Victreebel, the Super Form with perpetual digestive issues. The sign famous for being endearingly critical is clearly mirrored across this Pokémon’s whole evolutionary chain, from a always shocked face like a Virgo when you tell them you don’t have a retirement plan, to its upside-down face that’s just like the symbol a Virgo posts to the group chat when everyone says they want to “be spontaneous” rather than making a plan.

Libra – Super Audino

Observe this sweet, sensitive being, who uses the sensors on its ears to detect how others are feeling by their pulse. Always compassionate – sometimes to a detriment – and trying to keep the peace, there are many Libras who would probably benefit from Mega Audino’s skills. Though, let’s be honest, it would likely just make them worry more about everyone else.

Scorpio – Mega Banette

Banette is a creature with a surprisingly tragic origin: Discarded as a doll, it gained consciousness through pure hatred and vowed retribution on its former owner. Per the Pokédex, Super Evolution, “enhances its vindictiveness.” That sounds precisely like several conversations I’ve had with my scary Scorpion acquaintances. A Scorpion loves karma and comeuppance, making them the ideal pair with Super Banette.

Sagittarius – Mega Hawlucha

Both Super Hawlucha and Sagittarians are always staging a show. Being a Archer myself, the number of times I’ve referred to myself some variation of a “playful small jester” is innumerable. The showiest and most obnoxious Mega Evolution, its Pokédex entry even notes how it “flexes to show off its power.” I would do the exact same thing if I had some kind of Mega evolved form, making Super Hawlucha the most apt Archer counterpart I can imagine.

The Goat – Mega Absol

Did you know that a Super Absol has the power to foresee disasters in advance? That exudes the exact same vibe as a Capricorn, who often consistently think they’re correct. The thing is, similar to a visionary Mega Absol, they often are. It’s also the very initial Super Form that trainers encounter in Legends: Z-A – just like a Goat to join the beginning of the Super Form craze.

Aquarius – Mega Chandelure

Aloof air sign Aquarius is arguably the non-fire sign that is most like a fire sign – its counterpart is the Lion, and there are countless memes about the Archer and Water Bearer being unpredictable partners in crime. Mega Chandelure’s double Ghost/Fire category fits perfectly with this, and the Mega’s overall daunting aura is also extremely Water Bearer. If you hadn't yet persuaded, the Mega’s Pokédex entry says it “absorbs negative energy and converts it into strength.” If that fails to exactly {encaps
